How to turn off UAC (User Account Control) in Windows Vista

User Account Control (UAC) is a Windows Vista Security feature that can interfere with the operation of some programs.

We recommend turning off UAC on your Windows Vista machine for maximum compatibility with TradeVec.

1.     Open up Control Panel, and type in "UAC" into the search box. (make sure you are not in classic view)

You will see a link to "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off":

2.     On the next screen you should uncheck the box for "Use User Account Control (UAC)", and then click on the OK button.

You'll need to reboot your computer before the changes take effect.
