This guide is for updating a previous version of TradeVec on
Windows Vista. 
For instructions on installing TradeVec on Windows Vista for
the first
time or for users that have uninstalled TradeVec click here: How to
Install TradeVec on Windows Vista
1.
If you have not already done so, for maximum
compatibility on windows vista, you should disable vista's UAC (User Account
Control) feature.
2.
Login to your account on TradeVec website and
download TradeVec and save it to your computer.
3.
Make sure TradeVec is not currently running
before you continue.
4.
Once download is complete, right click the
TradeVec Updater file and left click the "Run as Administrator" menu
item.
5.
This will launch the TradeVec application
updater
6.
Check to make sure the updater has correctly
located your TradeVec install directory.
If the
displayed install path is not correct you can manually point it to the correct
TradeVec install folder by clicking the “Select Dir…” button
7.
If you wish to reset your TradeVec settings to
defaults check the “Reset Application Settings to Default”

This will reset all your colors and app settings to defaults

8.
Click “Run Update”
9.
When the updater shows the “Update Complete” message
you can close the updater and start TradeVec
10.
If the updates fails you will see the following
message. Scroll down the update log to
see why the update failed.
Once you find
the reason correct the issue and try to run update again or contact support.
