1. How do I activate the alerts for a new
indicator?
1. Click
on the Indicator Manager icon 
on the
upper TradeVec toolbar to open Indicator Manager
2. Add
an indicator to the chart window. Click

3. In
the “Inputs” tab activate the type of alert required for this indicator by
setting its value to “Enabled”.

Some indicators can have more than one alert that can be activated
for them
|
4. Click
“Alerts Settings” Tab.
Turn on the types of Alert notifications you want by checking the Enable
boxes next to each.
And then specify the settings you want for each of the alert types you
Enabled

Click
”Apply” to immediately apply your settings and Click “OK” to close the “Format
Quote Window Alerts” form

Enable Audio Alert
|
Various options for using sounds to alert you when an alert is
triggered.
|
|
Enable Tab Flash For Alerts
|
Makes the tab that contains the
alert flash when the alert is triggered.
|
|
Enable Message Window with Alert
|
Displays a pop up message window when the alert is
triggered.
|
|
Move Alert To History After
|
Moves the alert from the Active
tab to the History tab of the Alert Tracking window after the specified time
interval
|
3. How do I activate the alerts for an indicator
already on my chart?
1. Open
Indicator Manager by double clicking the indicator on that chart to which you
want to remove the alert from.
Alternatively you
can Right Click on the indicator to open the menu and Left Click “Indicators
Manager”
Make sure the indicator you want to
modify is selected in the indicators tree.

In the example below, the MoveAve1 indicator is selected
on region 1 of the GDX chart.

Notice, The indicator you double clicked is already selected for you
in Indicators Manager.

2.

4. How do I turn off an indicator alert?
1. Open

you want to remove by setting their value to “Disabled”
3. Finally
Click the Apply button to save your new indicator settings. Then Click the Close button to exit
Indicators Manager.

Notice that the
indicator has been updated with the new settings as soon as the Apply button
is clicked
